Łódź is a city different than any other. In the middle of the country, influenced by 4 cultures from 4 sides of Poland. The city was built at the intersection of the two largest trade routes: amber and silk.

Julian Tuwim's Bench

One of the attractions of my city is Piotrkowska Street. Part of it is a representative avenue where you can find not only many sculptures, and paintings (including murals), but the whole street itself is a specific historical map of the city. Each building is a monument.

Unknown Poland

Poland is a country situated geographically in central Europa. It is definitely one of a kind place, not western and not eastern, just the exact middle o the continent. Such a situation has a direct impact on the political and economic situation of our country and, above all, on the people.

Memories of an unknown patriot.

On September 1, 1939, the sun rose red. There was a light fog. At eight o'clock in the morning, I saw a German plane flying over Retkinia with Polish signs. He was shooting at the train. In the evening hours, the entire city of Łódź was bombed. So war!?
